A backend-free Android agent that turns SMS into webhooks
Rules → processors → payload → offline queue → webhook. Point it at your endpoints; the same binary does payment verification, OTP forwarding and alerting.

Overview
A standalone Android app (Kotlin + React Native) that observes incoming SMS, matches them against configurable rules, runs processors to extract structured data, and forwards it to webhooks, with an offline queue so nothing is lost when the phone has no signal.
The problem
Mobile-money and bank confirmations in Bangladesh arrive as SMS. Businesses needed those turned into machine-readable events without running a server, and without changing the app every time a new bank format appeared.
What I built
- Rules engine with configurable matchers and processors, so new SMS formats are configuration, not code.
- Payload builder and offline queue with retry, then a webhook sender with per-endpoint config.
- No backend of its own by design; it targets whatever endpoints you give it.
Outcome
0
Servers required
Offline
Queue with retry, nothing dropped
Engineering decisions
- Configuration over code for new formats
- Offline-first queue with retry
