I build the whole thing, then I keep it running.

I'm Ruhul, a product engineer and co-founder of CodeMines, a small product studio in Dhaka. Before that: a year at SparkTech Agency, a stretch of independent product work, and eight months on a remote contract keeping a Dubai-based IPTV business's systems running. Over the last three years I've put 1,660 commits into 81 repositories. Most of them are products that real businesses run their day on: a multi-tenant point-of-sale SaaS, a wholesale ERP with real accounting underneath, a jobs marketplace, a shared-housing platform, and mobile apps that went through App Store and Play Store review.

I work across the whole stack in TypeScript: Next.js and React on the front, NestJS and Node behind it, PostgreSQL or MongoDB underneath, React Native when it needs to be in someone's pocket. I own the deployment too: Docker, nginx, GitHub Actions, a VPS when Vercel isn't the right answer. I'd rather be the person who can take a product from a brief to a running system than the person who does one layer of it well.

What I care most about is the gap between working and correct: money that rounds, tenants that leak, history that gets edited. Those bugs cost businesses trust and never show up in a demo, so I design against them from the start with integer money, isolation the ORM enforces and ledgers you can only append to. I also write down what a system deliberately doesn't claim.

I use AI coding tools every day, as an agent rather than autocomplete: reading unfamiliar code, reproducing a bug, drafting the test that pins it. I don't ship a change I can't explain line by line. I'm in Dhaka (GMT+6), which overlaps US mornings and EU afternoons, and I work asynchronously by default: written updates, small reviewable diffs, a clear note on what changed and what I deliberately left alone.
